CZ School Twinning Programme 2007: Day 6(1 June 2007)

Today is Children's day in China.

It is not called 'Er Tong Jie' but 'Liu Yi Jie' instead.

We are going to perform this afternoon in the school.

Before we perform,we visited 'Bao Tu Quan'

After that,we went in here.

This is Li Qing Zhao's memorial hall .

This is Li Qing Zhao.

This is the wax work of Li Qing Zhao.It shows when she was young.The girl in pink is her.The man in red is her father,the woman in yellow is her mother.

This is when Li Qing Zhao is getting married.The man in blue is her husband(Zhao Ming Cheng)which is the third son of the Prime Minister.

This waxwork shows Li Qing Zhao and Zhao Ming Cheng.

After Zhao Ming Cheng's death,Li Qing Zhao wrote a poem to complain about the Song-Dynasty Emperor's compromise and runaway policy which reflected her patriotism--- her strong desire to fight for her own country.The poem goes like this:' Alive,I live a heroic life;Dead,as the ghost king die.Still I think of Xiang Yu Not crossing the riverside.'

After our trip to Bao Tu Quan,we went to Da Ming Hu.

Do you know?
If you notice,the word 'Tu' from Bao Tu Quan,was one stroke less.Do you know why?It is because people from china says that Bao Tu Quan leads to the other lake.So,you see,there is one more stroke in the word 'Ming'.

After we visit,we went to play the ferry's wheel.
